Our client, part of a £100 million turnover dynamic and successful Group, has a well-established jewellery brand name in Direct Sales and, having reached an exciting phase in its development, is poised for further substantial growth. The Company now wishes to strengthen its highly motivated senior management team by appointing an influential, target-oriented and people-focused Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in consolidating and further expanding the business. Although perhaps advantageous, a background in Direct Sales is not necessary but, with the business model based around over 3,500 Self-Employed Consultants, the ability to inspire and motivate people is. The position will report directly to the National Sales Manager and ongoing training and support will be provided. This is a National role and, because of the nature of the business, some evening and weekend work will be involved. Future continuous growth and success will be influenced greatly by the appointee’s ability to work effectively with the organisation’s Lead Consultants. This will require the capacity to be a Coach and a Mentor as well as the ability to monitor and implement the requirements of the business through positive liaison with all levels of the workforce.
